The Vision
A future where forward-looking policy strategies underpinned by robust legal frameworks form the strong foundation of resilient and healthy communities worldwide.
Why It Matters
Law and policy shape how health systems function — from financing and health product procurement, to protecting health-related human rights, to facilitating a rapid and effective health emergency response. Working together, law and policy can bring sustainable change to achieve population health in a country, a region, and the world.
The work of Global Health Law Strategies helps to build stronger legal and policy foundations so that health systems are more effective, equitable, and prepared to meet today’s and tomorrow’s health challenges and save lives.
